Royal and Loyal is a big and busy family of two humans, 6 lagotti romagnoli (that is the plural for lagotto romagnolo), a bulldog and a cat. We are members of the Coos Kennel Club and Club Italiano Lagotto.
We truly love all our dogs and puppies and our life is focused on providing everything they need. From healthcare to training exercise and stimulation.
All our dogs and puppies live in the house with us and they are part of everything we do including fun time at parks, beaches and training in the forests.
Our commitment is to breed Lagotti Romagnoli that are beautiful, happy, healthy, with a good temperament and extraordinary working ability that combined with their natural intelligence and willing to please make an amazing long life happy partner.
Our breeding program is based on one of the finest kennels in the world with a solid, successful and long selection on the breed. This is the base to produce quality Lagotti Romagnoli.
We raise them with the Puppy Culture Program and the Early Neurological Simulation and scent introduction to shape and promote their drive, intelligence and their full potential. We believe that an awesome lagotto not only needs to be in the perfect standard for the breed but also must be capable of performing the job. Lagotto is a working dog and we introduce our puppies to the truffle hunting experience using only positive reinforcement (Classical conditioning).
We do extensive health testing on our dogs. Royal and Loyal puppies are born only from tested parents. We have their hips, elbows, patella, eyes and DNA tested to insure quality breeding stock. (For more information visit our page dedicated about the health).
We pay particular attention to the right socialization. They have many educational toys to play and learn from. They learn the correct way to communicate and interact with the littermates, the mother and other dogs and cats.
We enjoy playing with them so they are used to being manipulated. They have a very big play area in our living room where they experience different materials, textures, noises and learn specific places dedicated for resting, for eating and for playing.
We work with them introducing the leash and the crate, making all of that a positive experience. Our puppies are familiar with grooming practices as well.
Royal and Loyal Lagotto Romagnolo puppies are ready for their forever homes between 10-12 weeks of age with 2 vaccinations. They also are, wormed and microchipped with AKC pedigree.
Once vaccinated they ride in the car and explore the outside world at the mall, parks and town where there are different stimuls.
Not only do our puppies make great family pets they can be working dogs (hunting truffles) or award winning show dogs.
Our Puppies start at $3,500.00 depending on the breeding/parents, age etc. We require a $500.00 deposit.
