At Royal and Loyal Lagotto Romagnolo you find top quality lagotti romagnoli: We are also members of the AKC Coos Kennel Club and the Club Italiano Lagotto.
We are the proud owners of amazing lagotti that we imported from Italy from top-notch breeders. All our dogs are excellent lagotti, with an amazing and important pedigree, they are perfectly in standard, with a great temperament. Our lagotti are all well-loved family members first. We believe that it is extremely important that the breed maintain its working capabilities and drive so our lagotti are involved in different activities (truffle hunting and particular detection tasks such as mold and bed bugs).
Each litter has been planned in order to have high quality puppies and both parents are fully tested (hips, elbows, patella, DNA, eyes).

Our puppies have wonderful temperament, working ability and really are beautiful. Our puppies can become Show dogs, Service dogs, Working dogs, or just terrific family pets.
All of the puppies from Royal and Loyal come with AKC pedigree: puppies are normally sold on limited AKC registration but under special occasion we will provide full right AKC registration.
We raise them following the Puppy Culture Program, Early Neurological Stimulation and Scent Introduction. We introduce them to the truffle hunting experience using real Oregon truffles.
We pay particular attention to the right socialization. They have lots of fun and educational toys. They learn the right way to communicate and interact with the other puppies, the mother and other dogs and cats.
We enjoy playing with them. It is also important so they are used to being manipulated.
They have a very big play area in our living room where they experience different materials, textures, noises and learn specific places dedicated for resting, for eating and for playing.
At 7 weeks the puppies are tested by a professional trainer using the 1979 Gazette combined with Volhard’s PAT 1981, 2000 and 2005, so we know the personality and work capability and drive of each pup and place them with the right family based on the needs of the family and the pup.
We introduce them to the leash and the crate, making all of that a positive experience.
Once vaccinated they ride in the car and explore the outside world at the mall, parks and town where there are different stimuls.
Our puppies are familiar with the grooming practices as well.
All our puppies complete a basic training for truffle hunting!
All our dogs and puppies live in our home and they are involved in all the normal routine in the house.
Royal and Loyal lagotto romagnolo puppies are ready for their forever homes between 10-12 weeks of age with:
- AKC pedigree;
- Microchip (AKC reunite prepaid by us)
- wormed
- TWO vaccination shots
- health book and records
- written contract
- 1 month health insurance
- bag with food, leash, collar…
The puppy can be picked up in Coos Bay Oregon or with a fee we will deliver to airports in Portland, Eugene and Medford.
Our Puppies start at $3,500.00 depending on the breeding/parents, age etc. We require a $500.00 deposit.
